An Overwiev: Looking At The Latest Developments In Legislation

It seems Turkey has entered in the influence of the approaching election. The scope and depth of the Parliament activity is decelerating gradually. Also, the old and polemical draft bills still wait for their turns.
EU circles have criticized the last term performance of Turkey to decelerate its integration process. In the meantime the Turkish Penal Code Art. 301 arguments appeared on the scene.
The 8th EU integration packet is on the way but after Barroso’s statement to call for EU to stop to the expansion period for a while after admitting Bulgaria and Romania in 2007, it seems there is no too much people to heed those “ordinary/exercise” Turkish integration packets.
After a few years of practice and experience, it’s understood that the political desire is the key factor of entrance of Turkey to the EU. Therefore, the peoples of the parties look at the integration period as e technical requirement and does not has a great worth to deal with.
However, upon any terms, Turkey needs its own success and modernization project with or without EU.
